Nice to remind ourselves of that now and again.

Especially considering there was a fire in our neighborhood last night. Three houses were written off as losses. If ours had been one, too, I’d still be able to write something today specifically because I’d have a place to sleep and rebalance my life.

My relief isn’t that Plan A – not having a crisis – is currently working, it’s that Plan B isn’t that hard to implement. I know not everyone can say the same.
